What with the humidty sky high, a pretty darn nice night to be in the WRIU studio. Hopefully the Boudin Barndance didn’t make you listeners too sticky. It was a night of odds and ends on the program. Featured some tracks from the new release called “Red” from local hero Mark Cutler (of The Schemers and Raindogs fame). Really good and really worth checking out on 75-or-less Records. Also did a mini preview of the upcoming Phosphorescent show at Club Hell in Providence on Aug 14. New releases making their Barndance debut in addition to Mr. Cutler’s included Dierks Bentley, Ted Stevens, and The Russians. Buttshaker of the week???? We continue the Detroit thing with “Broke in Detroit” from The Dirtbombs. Now let’s all grab a cold one and get to the goods….
