A couple of live show previews occupied the Boudin Barndance spotlight this
evening, that being Dave Howard who does a CD release party at the German Club
in Pawtucket tomorrow evening and whose new release “I Tried to Tell You” is a
country-edged recording, and Jim Lauderdale who appears at the Narrows Center
for the Arts in Fall River (www.ncfta.org) next Thursday night. New releases
receiving 1st time Barndance spins included recordings from Catfish Haven,
Magnolia Electric Company, Kristen Mueller, and the Rust Kings. Buttshaker of
the week????? Dave Howard with a bit of Hank Snow-styled rhumba country on
“Never Innocent”. Now onto the goods….
