Funkadelic Summer August 16, 2016
Through a bit of searching I found a couple of Compilation Albums of Deep Funk from the 70’s. The music is awesome but sometimes this was the only 45 that the artist recorded and it is hard to find any information on many. Thanks go to Quantic (a DJ, musician and music producer out of the UK) who has collected rare Funk CDs for a long time and luckily he shared some with us. When I play remixes there are several DJs that create their own music or have the most amazing collections that they sample from and on occasion share in a compilation form. The first ones I really recognised and enjoyed were Theivery Corporation.
