Another very full plate on The Boudin Barndance radio show this evening. Our main feature occupying the entire 2nd half of the program was a preview of the annual Rhythm & Roots music festival which happens August 29-31 at Ninigret Park in Charlestown, RI (https://rhythmandroots.com/) including an interview with the festival’s producer, Tyler Grill. We also remembered the legendary Tex-Mex accordionist Flaco Jimenez who passed away last week. We devoted the weekly C&W segment to music by and including Flaco. Prior to all of that was our usual first hour of primarily new music. New albums and singles making the Barndance hit parade for the first time tonight came from Tyler Childers, Brennen Leigh, Sunny Sweeney, Hayes Carll, The Autumn Defense, Rhett Miller, Greg Freeman, and Wood Brothers.
