A very full Boudin Barndance radio show this evening featuring multiple previews of upcoming live events including Alejandro Escovedo on Tuesday at the Narrows Center for the Arts in Fall River, Ryan Lee Crosby w/ Jimmy “Duck” Holmes at Myrtle in East Providence on Saturday afternoon, and the annual FreshGrass Festival (freshgrassfestival.com) happening at MASSMoCA in North Adams, MA from Sept 19-21. Prior to that, it was an hour of new stuff to begin the show followed by our weekly C&W segment. New albums and singles making the Barndance hit parade for the first time tonight came from Dean Johnson, Robbie Fulks, Nick Shoulders, Paul Burch, Willie Nelson, Nick Amadeus, Willie Watson, Sabine McCalla, The Womack Sisters, Los Straitjackets, and East Nash Grass.
