This evening’s Boudin Barndance radio show featured the finale in our long-running “Alt Country A to Z” feature which we began in April of 2023. It was a monthly journey through the alphabet of music from the prime period of the Alt Country movement which I define as the mid-to-late 1980s through the very early aughts. The Boudin Barndance broadcasted through the entirety of it, so had a vast library to draw from. Tonight we looked at the X-to-Z artists of which there were rather few. We also played some music from Todd Snider whose life came to a tragic end late last week. Prior to that, it was our usual first hour of mostly new stuff followed by the weekly C&W segment. New albums and singles making the Barndance hit parade for the first time tonight came from Snocaps and the late Dallas Good with Richard Reed Perry. Buttshaker of the week????
