We welcomed Bloodshot Records co-founder Rob Miller onto the show tonight to talk about his terrific new memoir, “The Hours are Long, But the Pay is Low.” The interview was divided into three segments with various Bloodshot tunes from yesteryear surrounding. It was great to catch up with Rob. You can check out the book at www.robmillerwriting.com. New releases dominated the first hour followed by the Miller segment. In a bit of a twist from our normal format, we closed the show with the weekly C&W segment. New albums and singles making the Barndance hit parade for the first time tonight came from Tommy Womack, Lisa O’Neil, Crooked Fingers, Jim Lauderdale & the Po Ramblin’ Boys, Melissa Carper, and a reissue from NRBQ. Buttshaker of the week???? The Blasters with “Flat Top Joint.” Hopefully you got to listen, but if not check the “LISTEN HERE” link above.
