First off, I want to thank everyone who donated to WRIU last week during our annual Radiothon fundraiser. We did play several songs from Kathleen Edwards who performs at the Narrows Center for the Arts in Fall River, MA on Saturday night. We also snuck one in from Michael Hurley for whom word of his passing came in just as I was going on the air. A more proper remembrance is planned for next week’s show. New albums and singles making the Barndance hit parade for the first time tonight came from Mattie Schell, Charley Crockett, Pug Johnson, Willie Nelson, Shannon McNally, Jesse Daniel, Missy Raines & Allegheny, Mekons, Ted Lucas (reissue), Thalia Zedek Band, and Grey DeLisle.
