It was another busy Boudin Barndance radio show this week. Our “Album You Need to Hear” feature was back tonight with the spotlight on the 1983 release from The Blasters called Non Fiction. Originally released on Slash Records, it has just recently been reissued by Liberation Hall Records(www.liberationhall.com) and still sounds as good as ever. It was in addition to our usual show with the first hour featuring mostly new stuff followed by the weekly C&W segment and then some playing the field in the 2nd half centered around some artist birthdays. New albums and singles making the Barndance hit parade for the first time tonight came from Lucinda Williams, Todd Snider, Sabina McCalla, The Mammals, The Gordian Knot (reissue), Snocaps, and of course, The Blasters.
