It was the happiest night of the year on The Boudin Barndance, that being the show after the fundraiser week and knowing we don’t have to beg for money for an entire year. Amen to that! Tonight’s happenings included a remembrance of Earl Scruggs who passed last week. Among the odds & ends, we also caught up on a bunch of new and recent releases. On the new release front, albums from Madi Diaz, Peter Mulvey, Madison Violet, The Mastersons, Rich Robinson, Demolition String Band, Cornell Hurd Band, Jason Eady, The Ramblin Ambassadors, Delta Spirit, Mike & Ruthy, and Michael Rank all made their Barndance debut this evening. Buttshaker of the week???? Birthday boy Johnny Horton with a cover of “The Golden Rocket”. Now let’s all grab a cold one and get to the goods….
