This evening was the The Boudin Barndance edition of the 2018 WRIU Radiothon fundraiser and once again the calls were plenty. Thank you all!  If you didn’t get a chance to call in, you can still pledge your support for a few weeks more via our web site at  Hit the “Radiothon” link and tell ‘em The Boudin Barndance sent ya and maybe grab some of our Folk & Roots dept merch. We’d like to thank the Boudin Barndance support staff: Liz, Nancy, Jimmy & Paul for helping out on the phones and data entry and making the chore of pledging so pleasant for the callers. The golden touch once more. We’d also like to give a big thanks to Nina at Bloodshot Records and Joel at New West Records for contributing CDs for giveaways, as well as Concord Music Group. Hat’s off to them! As for the music, it was an evening of two-song sets with lots of begging in between. New releases making their Barndance debut tonight included albums from James Scott Dullard and Wood & Wire. Buttshaker of the week????  JD McPherson with “Bloodhound Rock”.  Now let’s all grab a cold one and get to the goods….
