Even the flu could not bring down The Boudin Barndance this evening. We persevered and gave the show all we had to give. If you were listening, hopefully you approved. No real agenda tonight. Just playing a little of this and a little of that. New releases making their Barndance debut on this evening’s show included albums from Holly Golightly & the Brokeoffs, Bob Frank (reissue), Lydia Loveless (RSD 7”), Michaela Anne, Jim Oblon, and The New Mendicants who play a house concert hosted by yours truly on Sunday. With the 2014 Bloodshot Records calendar as our guide, we continued our once monthly “Bloodshot flashback set” with notable past April releases from the label. Buttshaker of the week????
