Well, it was webcasting only this evening as our transmitter got whacked during a storm yesterday morning and our over-air signal has been down ever since. Suffice to say, it was a pretty quiet evening on The Boudin Barndance. We previewed upcoming shows by Brown Bird/Joe Fletcher & Wrong Reasons at Music @ Lily Pads series in Peace Dale tomorrow night and Nathan & the Zydeco Cha Chas at The Knickerbocker Cafe in Westerly next Wednesday. Oh yeah, also featured tunes from Chicago-based band Sarah & the Tall Boys who play three shows in R.I. over the next 5 days. (Sarah has Providence roots.) Lots of new things making their Barndance debut this evening including releases from David Olney, Jimbo Mathus, Holly & the Heathens, Brown Bird, Brian Wright, Sonny & the Sunsets, Felice Brothers, Sally Ford & the Sound Outside, and Black Joe Lewis & the Honeybears.
