Our 5th annual Swamp Stomp Music Festival takes place from noon to 9 pm on
July 21 at a beautiful property on the outskirts of The Great Swamp in West
Kingston, R.I. Featured performers are J.C. Brooks & the Uptown Sound, Amy
LaVere, Valerie June, Mark Cutler & The Men of Great Courage, and

A busy night on The Boudin Barndance on another of what has been a string of gorgeous summer days here in Southeastern New England. Began with a bit of a gospel-ish set before going into a 100th birthday salute to Woody Guthrie. Featured music from the artists playing our 5th annual Swamp Music Fest on July 21 in West Kingston, R.I. Info on that event is above. Featured a couple of Evan Johns tunes in the last set to salute him on his 56th birthday (and who would’ve thought he’d make it this far). Still kicking. New releases making their Barndance debut this evening included Keller Williams & the Traveling McCourys, Old Crow Medicine Show, Woody Guthrie, Zoe Muth & the Lost High Rollers, Lost Sounds, and Jim Dickinson. Buttshaker of the week???? Evan Johns & the H-Bombs with “Boudin Man”. Now let’s all grab a cold one and get to the goods….
