One of them odds & ends nights on The Boudin Barndance this evening. We
remembered rockabilly great Billy Lee Riley who passed away this past
weekend with three songs. Also featured a few from David Allan Coe who
plays Lupo’s Heartbreak Hotel in Providence tomorrow evening. Lots of new
releases getting their first Barndance spins this evening. They included
new ones from Paul Burch (big thumbs up!), Ethyl & the Regulators, The Del
Morocco’s, Jack Hardy, Sam Baker, Carolann Solebello, and Magnolia Electric
Company. Buttshaker of the week???? From Billy Lee Riley (r.i.p.), pretty
much a no brainer with “Flying Saucer Rock & Roll”. Now let’s all grab a
cold one and get to the goods….
