A full plate on The Boudin Barndance this evening. We featured music from
artists coming to the Rhythm & Roots Festival at Ninigret Park in
Charlestwon, RI on Labor Day Weekend (www.rhythmandroots.com). We previewed
Bloodshot Records’ 15th anniversary Beer-B-Q celebration happening at the
Middle East in Cambridge, MA on Sunday (www.bloodshotrecords.com). Finally,
we featured music from Andy Friedman who along with his band The Golden
Winners (www.myspace.com/otherfailures) play what is supposed to be an
outdoor backporch show as part of yours truly’s house concert series this
Saturday, but because of Tropical storm Danny is looking more and more like
it will be an indoor affair. Squeezed in some first timers as well. New
releases making their debut on the Barndance included albums from Tom
Russell, Nouveaux Honkies, Box Elders, & Ty Segall. Buttshaker of the
week???? Flat Duo Jets produced by Jim Dickinson with a pedal-to-the-metal
