A very steamy Boudin Barndance radio show tonight as we welcomed local band The Z-Boys onto the program and they sure as shit turned up the burners on their instrumental offerings and smoked the studio. Holy crap! We previewed some music by Mark Mulcahy (Met Café in Pawtucket on Nov 15), Lydia Loveless (Café 639 in Boston on Nov. 9), and Jeremy Pinnell (playing our Roots Hoot House Concerts series on Saturday night). New releases making their Barndance debut tonight included albums from The Deep Dark Woods, Scott Miller, Billy Burnett, and Matt Pattershuk. Buttshaker of the week???? The Z-Boys! Pick a song.
