Coming up on the Nov. 22 Boudin Barndance, our 14th annual Thanksgiving night Doug Sahm tribute show. All things Doug for three full hours from 6-9 PM EST!
A relatively quiet night on The Boudin Barndance this evening. It afforded us an opportunity to play the field, so to speak, with a little of this and a little of that. About the only feature was a preview of the two man band Water Liars who bring it to AS220 in Providence on Saturday night. New and/or recent releases making their Barndance debut tonight included recordings from Ben Kyle, The Dahls, Amy Allison & David Scott, Jonathan Rundman, and Buddy Miller & Jim Lauderdale. Buttshaker of the week???? In honor of my dad who was a radioman in WW2, Don Woody gets the nod with “Morse Code”. Now let’s all grab a cold one and get to the goods….
