Another Thanksgiving night on the Boudin Barndance and as we’ve done for the
last five years, we gave thanks for the music of Doug Sahm with the last two
hours of the program dedicated to he and his various configurations. Snuck in a
few 1st-timers the first hour of the program with new releases from Frank Lee
Sprague of Sprague Brothers fame and another from Greezy Wheels. Buttshaker of
the night????? Like past years, a blast from the past and Doug’s Harlem Records
days with he and the Mar Kays doing up the gargantuan shaker “Sapphire.” Now
