After a week off in the lovely winter locales of Cleveland and Hudson, NY, we were back in the Boudin Barndance saddle tonight. We remembered country hitmaker Sonny James (26 #1’s!) who passed on Monday. Also did a ticket giveaway for the Pine Hill Project at the Greenwich Odeum on March 4. Lots of catching up to do tonight with new releases from Paul Burch, Willie Nelson, Reed Turner, Marlon Williams, Birds of Chicago, Jennifer O’Connor, Brett Harris, Sarah Borges, Waco Brothers, Dan Stuart with the Twin Tones, Billy Talbot Band, and Nap Eyes all getting their first time Barndance spins on this evening’s show. Also reprised a couple of nuggets that were featured on The Walking Dead (Ronnie Dawson’s “Action Packed”) and HBO’s Vinyl (“Night Life” from The Del-Tinos) this past Sunday. Buttshaker of the week???? No contest! Ronnie Dawson with the aforementioned “Action Packed.” Now let’s all grab a cold one, or two, and get to the goods….
