A routine Boudin Bardance this evening, a little bit of this and a little
bit of that. Kicked off with a honky tonk birthday set sending salutes out
to a mess of legends, both dead and living. A bunch of new things making
their Barndance debut this evening. Leading the pack was the excellent new
slab from Reigning Sound called “Love & Curses”. It’s their 1st studio
release in five years and worth your hard-earned dollar. Other first-timers
tonight included new ones from Angela Easterling, Sarah Jarosz, and Chris
Knight. Buttshaker of the week???? Reigning Sound kickin’ ass on “Stick
Up For Me”. Now let’s all grab a cold one and get to the goods….
