Wed May 13 Newport Jazz Jam Session w/ Walter Smith III 7-10pm The jam sessions will feature a house band and curated jazz repertoire. Each session will be themed to focus on the music and legacy of a jazz artist; musicians are encouraged to play a tune written by that artist. A different jazz artist will be announced a week ahead of time to give musicians time to learn and explore that artist’s music. We invite musicians of all levels and ages to join each session. Non-performing patrons are also invited to attend and watch each session.
