Choirs, singing groups, vocal ensembles, chorales, all of the above provided the music for Picture This 125, in which we offered compositions from Ennio Morricone, Burt Bacharach, Jonsi Birgisson and Alex Somers, Mel Brooks, James Newberry, Roomful of Teeth, Luniz and Michael Marshall,  and the Hanna-Barbera Singers, to name a few. A celebration of voices, sometimes so indispensable to a shot, scene, or sequence that the meaning of the film or television moment would not be the same without them and sometimes they are only subliminal in their presence.

I hope you will join me for Picture This 126 at 6 PM on Sunday, April 26th, when we journey to north to spend a couple of hours with the cinematic and television music of our Canadian friends.
