Snow melt in progress and The Boudin Barndance is alive and well on this first Thursday of March. Other than a set of music from newly announced artists playing this year’s Rhythm & Roots Festival on Labor Day Weekend (Sept 4-6) in Charlestown, R.I., it was pretty much a standard-issue program tonight beginning, as usual, with an hour of mostly new and recent releases. It was followed by the weekly C&W segment before the Rhythm & Roots early preview. We finished with a mash-up for the final hour. New albums and singles this evening came from Boy Golden, Joe Pernice, Buck Meek, Lightning Stills, Blood-Sucking Maniacs, Yonder Mountain Stringband, and Todd Albright.
