A full plate on The Boudin Barndance radio show this evening. We celebrated the birthday of Willie Nelson featuring a two set mix of tunes from him. The “Album You Need to Hear” feature was back, as well, with a look at The Jayhawks’ 1989 album Blue Earth. We closed with a short set in remembrance of David Allan Coe who passed on Wednesday. Prior to all that, we began things with an hour of new stuff followed by the weekly C&W set. New albums and singles this evening came from Hiss Golden Messenger, Andrew Sa, Aaron Lee Tasjan, Brit Taylor, Lightnin’ Hopkins (reissue), Dan Penn, Monte Warden & The Wagoneers, Emily Nenni, Kacey Musgraves, Benjamin Todd, and Willie Nelson.
