Our main feature on this evening’s Boudin Barndance radio show was a one-day-late birthday salute to Willie Nelson. After opening with a song from his fine new album, we later featured an entire set of his music. Prior to that, it was new releases the first hour followed by our weekly C&W segment. After the Willie set, we featured a few tracks from the new one from The Mallett Brothers Band who play Friday evening at The Ocean Mist in Matunuck. We next played some “leftovers” from our Alt Country A to Z feature last week that we ran out of time to play. New albums and singles making the Barndance hit parade for the first time tonight came from Kelsey Waldon, Kassi Valazza, Will Johnson, Half Gringa, Matt Anderson, Mary-Chapin-Carpenter, Jobi Riccio, Sweet Megg, Natalie Bergman, Marty Stuart & The Fabulous Superlatives, and The Mallett Brothers Band.
