July 16 – Album You Need to Hear feature
The usual busy Thursday night on the Boudin Barndance radio show. Our “Album you need to hear” feature was back with the Bottle Rockets’ 1994 release “The Brooklyn Side” in the spotlight. We did a final preview of music you can hear at next weekend’s Green River Festival. Tickets are still available by going to www.greenriverfestival.com. Prior to all of that, it was the usual first hour of mostly new releases followed by the weekly C&W segment. New albums and singles making the Barndance hit parade this evening came from the late Don Williams, Grey DeLisle & Les Greene, Alex Amen, Tony Rice (new reissue of his self-titled 1970s album!), Ken Pomeroy, and Kurt Vile.
