Mardi Gras night on The Boudin Barndance as we devoted the entire 2nd half of the program to the music of New Orleans and Louisiana. Prior to that, it was an hour of mostly new releases to begin the show followed by our weekly C&W segment. New albums and singles making the Barndance hit parade for the first time tonight came from Sierra Hull, Horsegirl, The Delines, The Altons, Leslie Mendelson, Galactic w/ Irma Thomas. Buttshaker of the week???? A no brainer: Professor Longhiar with “Mardi Gras in New Orleans.” Now let’s all grab a cold one or three, and get to the goods….
