Bottle Rockets night on The Boudin Barndance. The band in its current configuration announced in early March that it is ending its run. They’ve been a Barndance fave since album #1, hence we dedicated the last hour to their music. Prior to that it was our usual mix of stuff. By the way, if you’ve ever attended our Swamp Stomp summer shindig, it was the Bottle Rockets, thanks to Eric Ambel, who played year #1 and got the ball rolling. New music making its Barndance debut tonight included singles and albums from Matt Sweeney & Bonnie “Prince” Billy, Lukas Nelson & POTR, Watchhouse, Mark O’Connor, and Alex Miller. Buttshaker of the week???? Bottle Rockets, of course, with “Every Kinda Everything.” Now let’s all grab a cold one, or three, and get to the goods….
