UPCOMING SPECIAL BOUDIN BARNDANCE SHOW INFO:

Right off the bat, I forgot to mention last week marked 37 years in the Thursday night slot on WRIU-FM. How about that?! Another full plate on the Boudin Barndance this evening. We kicked off with our usual hour of new releases followed by the weekly C&W segment. The 2nd half of the program began with a feature of the new album from local rockabilly trio The Soapbox Saints called “Play It Cool.” After that was a mini birthday salute to Bob Dylan and then a few odds and ends before closing with a whole bunch of Stax recordings to commemorate the premier this week of the new HBO Max documentary Stax: Soulsville U.S.A. New albums and singles making their Barndance debut this evening came from the Kim Richey, Kielty Connell, Staples Jr Singers, Amy Rigby, and The Soapbox Saints. Buttshaker of the week????
