An absolutely sparkling Thursday evening for a Boudin Barndance radio program. Being Bob Dylan’s birthday today, it was a no brainer to commemorate it. We all played a few Rank & File tunes in remembrance of Tony Kinman who passed away at the beginning of the month. We previewed a few live shows happening this weekend in these parts, too. A bunch of new albums making their Barndance debut tonight included records from Nikki Bluhm, American Aquarium, Great Peacock, John Paul Keith, Trampled by Turtles, Ashley Monroe, Karen Jonas, and Liz Brasher. Buttshaker of the week???? Carl Perkins takes it with “Tennessee.” Now let’s all grab a cold one, or two, and get to the goods….
