A goregous night in these parts tonight for a Boudin Barndance radio show and we played it to the hilt. No big specials, but we did remember Gram Parsons on the anniversary of his death and Jimmie Rodgers by playing tracks from Merle Haggard’s 1969 tribute album. Previewed the Southern Culture on the Skids show happening at the Met Café in Pawtucket tomorrow night. New releases reaching the Barndance hit parade for the first time on tonight’s show included albums from Bill Scorzari, Rachel Harrington, Samantha Fish, 40 Acre Mule, Tyler Childers, Dan Whitaker & the Shinebenders, Dallas Moore, Jason James, and the soundtrack to the motion picture The Peanut Butter Falcon. Buttshaker of the week???? SCOTS with “Too Much Pork for Just One Fork.” Now let’s all grab a cold one, or two, and get to the goods….
