The Boudin Barndance welcomed winter this evening in these parts, 4 inches of it when I left the station. Who knew while I was in the DJ bunker! After getting word of his passing late in the afternoon, we remembered Roy Clark on tonight’s show. What a master! That was on top of the usual Barndance mix. Even so late in the year, a bunch of albums made their BB debut tonight. Included were records from Mark Edgar Stuart, Taylor Martin, Jonathan Byrd & the Pickup Cowboys, Mark Knopfler, Malcolm Holcombe, Donna the Buffalo, Rhett Miller, JD McPherson, Laura Jane Grace & the Devouring Mothers, and the Pollies. Buttshaker of the week???? The entire Roy Clark set. Now let’s all grab a cold one, or two, and get to the goods….
