An odds and ends night on the Boudin Barndance this evening. What with the 5th anniversary of his passing occurring last week, began with a remembrance of R.I. C&W legend Eddie Zack. We also paid tribute to Buckaroo Doyle Holly who passed last week. Played a couple of Buckaroos album tunes with Doyle on the vocals. New releases making the Barndance hit parade for the first time included recordings from steel player Lucky Oceans, a reissue of Roy Orbison’s “Crying” album, the Spanic Boys, and Jane Gillman. Buttshaker of the night???? Why the late Mr. Zack with a classic bite of hillbilly rock ‘n’ roll called “I’m Gonna Roll & Rock”. Now onto the goods….
