The Boudin Barndance was off last week and sorry about that, but we were back in full force this evening. We did a lot of playing the field. The big event this evening was a birthday remembrance set in honor of the late Johnny Cash. New and upcoming releases making their Barndance debut tonight included albums from Valerie June, Southern Avenue, Bombadil, Scott Nolan, The Show Ponies, Ha Ha Tonka, Old 97s, Reverend Samuel Dixon (reissue), and Otis Taylor. Buttshaker of the week???? Chuck Prophet from his new one with “Your Skin.” Now let’s all grab a cold one, or two, and get to the goods….
