Still waiting for Spring to spring in these parts, but through it all, The Boudin Barndance goes on with another Thursday night “in the barn.” Began the show by remembering a giant and a solid rock, that being Chuck Berry and James Cotton. They don’t make ‘em anywhere near like that anymore. From there it was onto the usual mash-up of stuff. New releases making their Barndance debut tonight included albums from The Gibson Brothers, Front Country , The Mavericks, Tim O’Brien, The 81s with Luella, and Molly Burch. Buttshaker of the week???? Truck drivin’ style with Red Simpson doing “Motorvatin’ Man.” Now let’s all grab a cold one, or two, and get to the goods….
