After a couple of weeks of webcasting only, a temporary fix has our over-air signal back in operation and The Boudin Barndance once again beaming across Southeastern New England. A gorgeous pre-summer evening here in R.I., so hopefully you had us on on the porch or something. We welcomed singer/songwriter Grant Peeples to the program tonight. Grant’s playing a couple of house shows in the area including one tomorrow evening in Wakefield, R.I. Check out www.grantpeeples.com for the scoop. We previewed tomorrow evening’s record release party at The Met Cafe in Pawtucket for Providence-based band The ‘Mericans. Also previewed music from Jimmie Vaughan who along with his Tilt-a-Whirl Band play The Knickerbocker Cafe in Westerly on Saturday night. New releases making their Barndance debut this evening included albums from John Paul Keith (big thumbs up), Tedeschi-Trucks Band, Willem Maker (another big thumbs up), and The ‘Mericans.
