A mixed bag night on the Boudin Barndance this evening as we featured lots of
new things, remembered Waylon Jennings on his brithday, and previewed the Laura
Cantrell/Paul Burch twin bill happening at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston
next Wednesday as part of their Concerts In the Courtyard series. Among the new
releases receiving first time spins on the Barndance were Brian Capps, Domino
Kings, Red Stick Ramblers, Robert Gordon, Sara Hamilton, and Adam Carroll. Of
the bunch, I’m really digging the Sara Hamilton record. Buttshaker of the
night???? How aout Waylon with a spitfire cover of “White Lightnin’ “! Now
