The Boudin Barndance blog is alive again with a chronicle of our two week

Classes back in session at URI and the Memorial Union where WRIU is located
was abuzz. Already missing the peace and quiet of the summer break.
Anyway, we mixed it up on tonight’s Boudin Barndance. Previewed a couple of
events on Sunday, the annual Narrows Festival of the Arts in Fall River
(www.ncfta.org) and a house concert with Amy Speace & The Tearjerks hosted
by yours truly (www.myspace.com/rootshoot). Lots of birthday remembrances,
as well. Releases making their Barndance debut this evening included new
ones from Chris Smither, Band of Heathens, The Pneurotics, Emmitt Nershi
Band, and 7 Worlds Collide Oxfam Benefit compilation. Buttshaker of the
week???? The Jesters win the gold with “Stompity Stomp”. Now let’s all
