One of those odds and ends nights on the Boudin Barndance this evening. Paid
our respects to two performers on the opposite ends of the spectrum in Skeeter
Davis and Johnny Ramone each of whom passed in the last week. Previewed the
Reverend Horton Heat show at Jarrod’s Place in Attleboro, MA this evening.
Loads of first-timers to the Barndance hit parade tonight as well. New albums
from Jason Ringenberg, Sally Timms, Buddy Miller, Tony Joe White, Maplewood,
Split Lip Rayfield, Jake Brennan & the Confidence Men, and Mark McKay made the
cut for the 1st time not to mention a reissue collection of tracks from Floyd &
Lloyd Armstrong, a.k.a. The Armstrong Twins. Buttshaker of the night?????
