Wind howling and rain spittin’, it was a good night for hangin’ home and listenin’ to the radio. If so, hopefully it was to The Boudin Barndance. It was the usual good time and musical mixed bag of vittles. About the closest thing to a feature was a couple of tunes from Kevin Gordon who with his band plays a house show hosted by yours this Sunday (and we are at can-of-sardines level for this show). New albums making their Barndance debut tonight included ones from Joe Ely, Bart Crow, Israel Nash, Rex Hobart and The Welfare Liners. Buttshaker of the week???? Jason James with a swingin’ number called “Pullin’ Out the Suit”. Now let’s all grab a cold one, or two, and get to the goods….
