Hints of the nasty weather months ahead were in the outside air this Boudin
Barndance Thursday evening. Began the show on a Veteran’s Day note with Tom
Russell and Johnny Cash doing the honors. Other than that, it was pretty much a
Barndance free-for-all. Some recent releases making Boudin Barndance debuts
this evening included new ones from Willie Nelson, Dolorean, Richard Buckner,
Giant Sand, and the Notorious Cherry Bombs (a little behind the 8-ball on the
latter). Buttshaker of the night????? Wayne Hancock who by the way is in the
Northeast this weekend with gigs in NYC (Rodeo Bar – Thurs) and Troy (Revolution
Hall-Sat., with Coal Palace Kings opening), with “Juke Joint Jumpin'”. Now onto
