A two-fold program for this Boudin Barndance before Xmas. First off, it was a
Barndance Xmas party with revelers galore joining us in the studio all in the
holiday spirit. Of course there was cheer & Christmas tunes aplenty.
Sandwiched in between the seasonal stuff was a couple of big ol’ set of tunes
from the Cornell Hurd Band in celebration of the big guy’s birthday the day
before Xmas. We did a timeline thing playing a track from each of Cornell’s
available discs gong back to the Mondo Hot Pants Orchestra days. Extra special
was the incoming NEW release from Cornell and the band titled “Fanmail: From the
Lost Planet”. Compared to previous releases, it’s scaled back a bit, but still
plenty good. Finally, to all the Barndance faithful out there, happy holidays!
