Well, we’re not one for Xmas music on The Boudin Barndance and prefer to leave it to all the other DJs out there (and too many of whom play the same tired, old stuff). However, given this year’s program fell on Xmas eve, it’s tough to avoid. In other words, we gave in and delivered a three hour big gulp of holiday sounds outside the mainstream. (Unfortunately, the Rudy Ray Moore, aka Dolemite, holiday disc is so multi X-rated we couldn’t get a track on). First off, a big thank you to DJ Tom D. who appeared out of the dark hallway about mid-show with a serious bomber of cheer which made the last hour of the program a bit dizzy. Congrats to all the CD winners! Buttshaker of the week???? Go Michigan with The Hentchmen tearing it up on “Merry Christmas Baby.” Now let’s all grab a cold one and get to the goods….
