After two weeks of looking back at 2008, it was somewhat back to normal on
The Boudin Barndance this evening. We welcomed back Nashville-based
performer Phil Lee during the last hour of the program. Phil was last on
the program in 2000. He is in the midst of a Northeast radio swing to
promote his latest release, “So Long, It’s Been Good To Know You,” which
he’s selling from his web site (www.phillee1.com) and at live shows. New
and recent releases making the Barndance hit parade for the first time
included recordings from The Gourds, Beausoleil, Bob Dylan, Andy Friedman &
the Other Failures, Jim Mize, Kelleigh McKenzie, T. Jarrod Quartet, and two
terrific 7-inchers from Big Legal Mess Records (www.biglegalmessrecords.com)
from Memphis-based Monsieur Jeffrey Evans and Pure Country Gold from
Portland, OR. Buttshaker of the week???? Monsieur Jeffrey Evans takes the
sausage with “Lord Keep Me Sanctified”. Now let’s all grab a cold one and
