While it was a haul getting there, snow and nasty roads couldn’t delay the Boudin Barndance this evening as the month of March kicks off with a vengeance here in Southeastern New England. The highlight of the evening was the unveiling of a slew of 7-inchers picked up this past weekend at the R.I. Record Collectors twice annual show. Loads of new things making the Barndance lineup for the first time, as well. They included releases from Jon Langford, Kris Kristofferson, Tres Chicas, Josh Rouse, Lucky Tomblin Band, Jim Loessberg, Alecia Nugent, Billy Burnette, and Tom Russell. Buttshaker of the night????? Why one of those 45’s, of course, that being Vern Stovall with the Longhorn single “Movin’ Around”. Now onto the goods…..
