Back in the saddle again tonight after 10 days of films and music at SXSW in Austin. Frankly, with temps hitting 80 today in these parts, it felt like March in Texas. Anyway, a bit of SXSW redux on tonight’s program including sounds from bands we really dug and some of the great music doc screenings on Rodriguez, Big Star, and Charles Bradley. All fabulous films to keep a lookout for. A bunch of new and upcoming releases making their Barndance debuts tonight including albums from Joe Pug, Melody Walker, The Atomic Duo, Carolina Chocolate Drops, J.W.W. & the Prospectors, Crooked Fingers (a bit belated), and Water Liars.
